About Digital Trust Alliance

Digital Trust Alliance (DTA) is a volunteer-led non-profit in Colombo. We exist to build trust in Sri Lanka's digital systems. Trust means secure technology, sound governance, and protected privacy. Asia is adopting technology at speed. Cloud, AI, and digital identity now underpin daily life. Safeguards have not kept pace. People are asked to trust systems they cannot see. DTA works to close that gap. We unite professionals in security, governance, risk, compliance, and privacy. We work with regulators, industry, academia, and civil society. We set standards, develop professionals, and advocate for sound policy. DTA grew out of the Digital Trust Awards. ISACA Sri Lanka held the first awards in June 2024. DTA was incorporated on 26 December 2024. It is a company limited by guarantee. It launched publicly on 24 February 2025. Today we organize Digital Trust Asia. It combines a conference, a talent accelerator, and awards. We also run monthly member days and quarterly workshops. In 2025 we submitted comments on the Online Safety Act. Alone we can be breached; together we are resilient.
