These Terms & Conditions govern your use of Digit Portal, operated by the Digital Trust Alliance, a non-profit organisation based in Sri Lanka. By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to these terms.

1. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Digit Portal lawfully and respectfully. You must not misuse the platform, including by posting unlawful, misleading, or harmful content, attempting to disrupt the service, or using it to defraud others or misrepresent a cause.

2. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate information when registering and keep it up to date. Notify us promptly if you suspect any unauthorised use of your account.

3. Contributions & Payments

Contributions made through Digit Portal are processed by third-party payment providers. You agree to provide accurate payment information and confirm that you are authorised to use any payment method you supply. Contributions directed to a cause are intended to support that cause; please review each cause carefully before contributing, as contributions may be non-refundable once processed.

4. No Commercial Misuse

Digit Portal is provided for charitable and community purposes. You may not use the platform for unauthorised commercial activity, advertising, spam, or any purpose inconsistent with the mission of the Digital Trust Alliance.

5. Intellectual Property

The Digit Portal name, branding, and platform content are the property of the Digital Trust Alliance. Content you submit remains yours, but you grant us a licence to display and use it as needed to operate the platform and promote the causes you support.

6. Limitation of Liability

Digit Portal is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Digital Trust Alliance is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.

7. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sri Lanka.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
