Erase an event registration

If you registered for an event without creating a DigiT Portal account, you can have that registration erased here. You will need access to the email address you registered with - we email a confirmation code to it, because erasing is permanent and must not be something a stranger can do to you by knowing your address.

What gets erased

Your name, email address, phone number and every answer you gave on the registration form - including anything you wrote in a free-text box, and any emergency contact you gave us for someone else. The technical record of the device you registered from goes too.

The attendance record itself stays, with your identity removed from it. If it did not, the headcount for every event you attended would change retroactively, and organisers rely on those numbers being stable. What remains cannot be traced back to you.

This does not cover registrations made while signed in

If you have a DigiT Portal account and registered while signed in, those registrations belong to your account and are removed when the account is deleted. Use account deletion instead.

We do not match guest registrations to accounts by email address, so this page cannot find registrations made under your account and account deletion cannot find these. That is deliberate rather than an oversight: two people can share an email address, and assuming otherwise would let one of them erase the other’s records.

If this does not work for you

If you no longer have access to the email address you registered with, this page cannot help - the code is the only thing proving the request is yours. Email privacy@digitaltrust.lk and a person will handle it, which will take longer and may involve other questions to establish that the registration is yours.
